The idea about launching a free community web site which all of us can rely on for most up to date information on Indian community (people from INDIA origin) in Wisconsin started spinning in our mind around early 2007. That's when we named the web site as WisIndians.com and registered so that we can start working towards that goal. Lots of thoughts have been put into the effort to shape the site so that community will benefit maximum in terms of news, events, coupons, yellow pages, free gift certificates and many more. We also considered the ways local business can grow using the services from the web site as well as to help our community temples around Wisconsin.
So, friends, the time finally arrived on Jan 25th 2008 midnight (to celebrate India’s republic day) when we dedicated WisIndians.com to the community. Since then we received lots of appreciations from various community members, leaders, which encourages us to do more in the coming months. We are dedicated to provide the useful information to the community as much as possible.
Thanks a lot to you folks for helping us to make this site more useful to the community.
